The Pattern :
(+) S + V2 + comp.
(-) S + Did not +V2 + comp.
(?) Did + S + V2.

Past Continuous Tense-> a kind of the tense that is used to describe an event or an action
(+) S + V2 + comp.
(-) S + Did not +V2 + comp.
(?) Did + S + V2.

Past Continuous Tense-> a kind of the tense that is used to describe an event or an action
which was happening in a certain time in the past.
The Pattern :
(+) S + was/were + verb-ing + comp.
(-) S + wasn't/weren't + verb-ing +comp.
(?) Was/were + S + verb-ing + comp.
The last is Past Perfect Tense.
Past Perfect Tense -> used to express an action or an event that had happened
before the other event or action happened.
The Pattern :
(+) S + had/V3 + comp.
(-) S + had not/V3 + comp.
(?) Had + S + V3 + comp.
